Responsibilities Peraton's Cyber Mission sector is looking for aSOC Watch Officer / Shift Supervisorto support the Department of Homeland Security.Location: Chandler, AZ.Position OverviewPeraton is seeking a SOC Watch Officer / Shift Supervisor to support the Department of Homeland Security. This role is responsible for leading shift operations within a 24/7 Security Operations Center, ensuring continuous monitoring, analysis, and response to cybersecurity events across designated networks and systems.ResponsibilitiesCollect and analyze event information and conduct threat or target analysis.Provide persistent 24/7 monitoring of designated networks, enclaves, and systems.Interpret, analyze, and report events and anomalies in accordance with Computer Network directives.Initiate, respond to, and report discovered cybersecurity events.Manage and execute first‑level incident responses for reported or detected issues.Coordinate and communicate with external organizations and authorities as required.Distribute directives, vulnerability notices, and threat advisories to identified stakeholders.Produce daily summary reports of network events and activities, including metrics.Serve as the lead technical manager for the assigned shift. Qualifications Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years experience; 3+ years of lead or supervisory related experience.Demonstrated security experience.Incident Response experience and ability to create/modify SIEM dashboards.Certifications in an at least 1 of following:CASP, CCSP, SSCP, GMON, GCIH, GCIA, or GECDDOD 8570 CSSP Analyst/Infrastructure Support/IRCertificationU.S. citizenship required.An active DoD Secret security clearance with Top Secret/SCI eligibility.
