Standard Job Description

This position is located at Eglin AFB in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and will support the F-35 Lightning II Program. This position will perform duties as a Security Generalist and will be responsible for security support of classified and unclassified areas of the F-35 Academic Training Center (ATC) and / or F-35 Fighter Squadrons. As a security generalist, you will be responsible for controlling and managing unclassified / classified material documentation and media, as well as providing physical security for multiple Special Access Program Facilities. You will also be responsible for controlling access and badging to all F-35 areas in specified facilities, providing escort services when required, and assisting in the planning and execution of program security operations related to Special Access Program Facilities. You will perform other security duties as necessary and directed by the Site Security Manager. This position will primarily be assigned to First shift but may require flexibility to work other shifts as dictated by customer requirements to include weekends and other shifts assigned to support mission events. Occasional business travel may be required to include deployment and detachment support in arduous or austere locations to support F-35 security operations outside of Eglin AFB, FL.

1. Experience working on the F-35 Program.
2. Knowledge of ICD 705 Physical Security knowledge.
3. Previous SAP experience & knowledge of DoD 5205.07.
4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Ability to multi-task and work in a team setting achieving common goals.
6. Excellent written and verbal skills.
7. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products
