Responsibilities Peraton requires Systems Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 EOM.This position islocatedat Camp H.M. Smith, HI.The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.Systems Administrators provide various project management, technical, and administrative support for assets employed at approved global locations and support the development of policies and procedures. They must possess strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, in addition to in-depth technical knowledge of the Government’s systems’ hardware and software.Duties include but are not limited to:Performs tier one and two network and systems support in accordance with the SIE OPORDProvides support to systems hosting complex operational databases, software configuration control, and system interfaces for computer systemsEnsures incidents and change requests reflecting work are routinely updated to comply with service level agreementsMaintains file servers, network access, documents, analyzes and troubleshoots systems anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performanceMonitors and controls one or more mid-range application serversStudies program operating instructions to determine equipment setup and operationsMonitors the operation of assigned applications and storage devices and determines the point of hardware or software failureTroubleshoots and configures systems in accordance with standard procedures to continue operations when individual units of a system malfunctionCoordinates with software systems engineering or applications developers as necessary to correct errorsMaintains operating records such as machine performance and production reportsInstalls operating system software, patches, and upgradesAnalyzes, troubleshoots and resolves system hardware, software, and networking issuesConfigures, optimizes, fine-tunes, and monitoring operating system software and hardwarePerforms system backups and recoveryConducts server buildsCompletes troubleshooting issues related to infrastructure including VDI componentsDevelops and maintains SOPs for the infrastructure including VDI EnvironmentTroubleshoots and proactively resolves technical issues for individual usersInstalls, configures and maintains customer desktops and laptop PCs, mobile devices and peripherals, such as printersIdentifies and removes end-of-life and end-of-support equipment and performs data migration to new machines Qualifications Required Qualifications:BS + 8 years of experience OR MS + 6 years of experience OR PHD with 3 years of experience OR HS with 12 years of experience OR AA with 10 years of experienceActive DoD TS/SCI clearanceDoD 8570 IAT II CertificationA minimum of 3-year related experience as a Systems AdministratorHighly Desired Qualifications:Must be DoW 8140 under the Work Role Code 451 - Systems Administrator - Intermediate level or higher by 1 Oct 26#SITEC2026
