Senior Contracting Support Manager

LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, MA

JOB STATUS: Full-time; salaried

CLEARANCE: TS/SCI

Astrion is seeking a Senior Contracting Support Manager to work onsite at Hanscom AFB in Bedford Massachusetts supporting the Special Programs Division (AFLCMC/HNJ).

This division focuses on leading edge, advanced technology solutions for the warfighter's needs in areas such as electronic and cyber warfare. This role requires employees pass background screening for SAP.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Current/Prior experience within a DoD setting 
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot various situations to develop successful outcomes within established program/project guidelines (Program Office and Staff Level Support Interface)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • Master's degree

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support price/cost evaluation activities. 
  • The Contractor shall not participate in any negotiations. 
  • Perform contract close-out activities. 
  • Collect, compile, and analyze data. 
  • Support clerical, administrative, and office operations. 
  • Perform training associated with contract activities. 
  • Identifying requirements.
  • Developing acquisition strategies.
  • Drafting requests for proposals or invitations for bids.
  • Evaluating vendor offers.
  • Administering executed contracts throughout their lifecycle.
