Responsibilities Peratonhas an opportunity foryou to join ourmilitary intelligence program(s)of record to deliver,operateand sustain modernized, transformed data science/ data analysis environments worldwide that enable speedy and precise decision making to warfighters.Responsibilities:TheSenior Computer Scientist-Quality Assurance Framework (QAF)Oversight & Managementutilizesexpertisein designing, developing, andmaintainingdatasystems and software to create andmaintainthesesystems, developnew technologiesand algorithms, and solve complex computing and data system problems.This position will focus on QAFOversight & Monitoring.Responsibilities are, but are not limited to:Computer Science specific:Employ mathematics, statics, information science, artificial intelligence, machine learning,network science, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, data warehousing, datacompression, data protection, and/or other scientific techniques.Correlate complex, technicalfindings into graphical, written, visual and verbal narrative products.Assesstrendsfor existing data toidentifyandleverageother data sources.Develop andutilizemachine learning anddata mining algorithms, including, but not limited to, Multiple Information Model SynthesisArchitecture (MIMOSA) prediction algorithms based on open-source capabilities.Integrate or code algorithms to support Government intelligence search and discovery missions.Make best practice recommendations on managing data within hardware, software, storage, and bandwidth constraints.Employ data science techniques to support predictive analysis, socialmediaand crowd-source data analytics, wargaming, and strategy development.Employ exploratory analysis and rapid iteration techniques of large volumes of data.Prepare products to describe and document findings and activities.QAFOversight & Monitoringspecific:Design and execute Testing, Evaluation, Verification, and Validation (TEVV) protocols.Evaluate the performance, robustness, and fairness of AI systems in all source analysiscontexts.Collaborate with the Statistician/Mathematician to develop and apply statistical modelsand methods.Analyze TEVV results andidentifyareas for improvement.Develop and implement corrective actions to address TEVV findings.Ensure AIsystem performance and robustness.Develop and implement AI system maintenance schedules.Ensure continued systemperformance and robustness. Qualifications RequiredQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field,such asComputer Science,with a minimum of 17 years of experience orMaster’sdegree with a minimum of12years of work experience.Experiencedin algorithm development, data structures, and software development practices.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.Experienced inutilizationof the Quality Assurance Framework and standards.Experiencedinadvanced analytics, machine learning, and data integration methodologies.Experiencedwith intelligence databases, software, and analytical tools.Ability towork collaboratively with users and stakeholders.Capacity to adapt to changing situationstoprioritize tasks effectively.Excellent communication, analytical,and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:Master’sdegree in a relevant field.Experience working in the customer environment is preferred.SecurityClearance:This Positionrequiresan Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain aPoly,US Citizenshipis requiredtohold this clearance.
