You will serve as a ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the Engineering Department, Naval Oceanographic Office, of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.

Duties

['You will manage the logistical preparation for UxS operations, including the staging, inventory, and packing of vehicles, spare parts, and specialized test equipment.', 'You will troubleshoot and isolate system failures in complex electronic, mechanical, and software systems where no fixed pattern of failure may exist, often with limited access to external support.', 'You will perform comprehensive pre-deployment checks, system calibrations, and software configurations for all assigned unmanned vehicles and associated support equipment.', 'You will documents findings, technical issues, and successful new procedures in formal reports and maintenance logs.']

Qualifications

GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience operating and understanding modern electronic systems is a baseline requirement. Experience setting up and installing these electronic systems is required. Experience handling the routine maintenance of electronic equipment is necessary.
