Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Directing the operation, management and administration of an Office of the Inspector General (IG); Overseeing investigations and inquiries into complaints and issues affecting an Agency and its employees; Planning and overseeing the conduct of major inspections and audits of an Agency's programs and systems; Providing advice and guidance on ways to improve operations, morale, and discipline, and accomplishment of Agency's objectives; Performing the full range of supervisory duties for assigned personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Accountability Customer Service Decisiveness Flexibility Interpersonal Skills Problem Solving Resilience Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
