You will be the Field Engineer for the PAC‑3 Field Service Team. Our team is responsible for delivering technical analysis, troubleshooting, training, and on‑site support for PAC‑3/PATRIOT systems worldwide.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Field Engineer you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to customers and internal stakeholders for the PAC‑3 system, both in‑theater and from the CONUS hub.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Perform detailed fault isolation, diagnostics, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on PAC‑3/PATRIOT platforms.
• Manage region‑specific tools, test equipment, inventory, and schedules to sustain field operations.
• Deliver technical training and product briefings to customers, vendors, and Lockheed Martin personnel.
• Maintain accurate databases and documentation, ensuring compliance with DoD and contractual requirements.
• Serve as the primary on‑site liaison, communicating status, risks, and recommendations to customers and senior leadership.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications

- Active U.S. Department of Defense SECRET (or Interim SECRET) Security Clearance
- Candidate must possess a valid U.S. Passport with no restrictions on travel or have the ability to obtain a passport within the first 60 days of employment
- Knowledge of military supply systems 
- Experience with PAC3 systems or similar complex defense systems
- Experience with database management software (e.g., Excel, Access, Oracle)
- Experience working in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Candidate may also be required to take a post-offer, pre-employment physical to determine deployability capabilities as defined by the contract

Desired Skills

- Relevant experience working as a Field Service Technician (or similar position)
- Technical engineering degree and / or commensurate military experience
- Previous experience executing maintenance management in a military environment (US Army, foreign military, or similar)
- Basic knowledge of:
     - Reading and interpreting engineering drawings/schematics
     - Applying fault detection/isolation procedures
     - Electrical/mechanical aptitude
     - Hydraulic operations
     - Army Supply System
     - Ability to apply appropriate Packaging,   Handling, Storage, and Transportation
     - Ability to manage and account for inventory

- Good computer skills to include Microsoft Office products and internet navigation capabilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

- Excellent oral and written communication skills focused on (USG and FMS) customer relations
