GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, coordinating, and/or managing site facility and real property programs, including at least three of the following: (1) long-range capital investment planning and space utilization; (2) providing technical oversight and integration for complex, multi-phase facility renovation, construction, or modernization projects across multi-disciplinary stakeholders (e.g., public works, tenant commands, contractors); (3) developing localized facility operating procedures and compliance policies; (4) managing facility budget requirements; (5) overseeing physical security, fire protection, and environmental safety programs. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing day-to-day building operations and implementing preventive maintenance and facility repair schedules across multiple facilities; monitoring, inspecting, and evaluating contractor performance for facility operations and service contracts (e.g., custodial, grounds, HVAC, mechanical maintenance); evaluating space utilization and coordinating personnel or equipment relocations; serving as a property, physical security, or safety coordinator; and establishing common business processes (CBPs) to ensure operational compliance.
