The Advanced Programs and Exploitation (APEX) team within Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a skilled software engineer to support space-based mission processing of OPIR data used for missile warning and defense programs.
In this position, you will develop and integrate mission processing applications and flight software that operate on space-based processing systems. You will work at the intersection of mission applications and the underlying flight software environment, developing software that must operate reliably within constrained, real-time, and mission-critical systems.

or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a related technical field
Experience with NASA Core Flight System (cFS) or similar flight software frameworks
Experience developing flight software or embedded applications
Experience with real-time operating systems
Experience with embedded Linux
Experience with inter-process communication, messaging, and distributed systems
Experience with low-level programming and hardware interfaces
Experience with device drivers
Experience with multithreaded and real-time C++
Experience with spacecraft, payload, avionics, or other embedded systems
Experience with software verification and validation
Image Signal Processing or Mission Data Processing experience
Active security clearance

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00
