requirements. You will combine mechanical design, structural mechanics, and engineering principles with computer aided design and finite element analysis to analyze newly designed assembly equipment in a critical role to creating functional, safe, reliable, and manufacturable assembly equipment. Produce structural assessments of assembly equipment for military and commercial engines with minimal guidance. Apply knowledge of engineering mechanics, statics, and strength of materials to perform comprehensive structural analysis. Analysis may include both classical methods of manual calculations and/or creation of finite element models (FEM) for detailed finite element analysis (FEA) using Ansys Workbench. Participate in multi discipline teams to provide design solutions that balance customer
requirements for durability, cost and weight. Document and present analysis results in design review meetings with management and internal customers.
