experience. Principal Responsible Engineer Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline AND 5 years of engineering
experience, OR Master’s degree in STEM AND 3 years of engineering
experience. Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret
clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company. Must have professional
experience related to the development and integration of fluid subsystems or components.
Preferred
Qualifications: Master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering with focus on thermodynamic, fluid mechanic and/or heat transfer disciplines Active DoD Secret (or higher)
clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) and Special Access Program (SAP)
clearance.
Experience with aircraft subsystem development, with
requirements definition, specification development, component analysis, procurement, source selection, integration and test and verification for advance aircraft. Professional
experience related to the development and integration of fuel subsystems or components in commercial or military aircraft applications.
Experience performing thermodynamic, fluid mechanic and/or heat transfer analysis related to military/commercial aircraft and subsystems
Experience modeling fluid systems utilizing Amesim, MATLAB/Simulink, Thermal Desktop, Flomaster, and/or STAR CCM software Familiarity with NX CAD software and Teamcenter PLM
Experience with the military airworthiness certification process using MIL HDBK
Experience interpreting component detail drawings, specifications, installation drawings, and test procedures
Experience in supporting pursuits and proposals, including generating, reviewing, and approving technical proposals and BOEs Demonstrated
experience in leadership related to integrated product teams, including supplier and customer (internal and external) relations Demonstrated participation in mentoring activities. #AS FA3 Primary Level
