Responsibilities: Source and procure several commodities such as electronic hardware components, computer items, software, and IT services in support of production programs. Proficiency in the procurement process, including but not limited to price analysis, negotiations, policies and procedures, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Ability to place and oversee procurement packages. Initiates Requests for Quotations and Proposals and receives same, analyzing proposed pricing from potential suppliers. Ensures that appropriate documentation is provided to logistics/transportation & warehouse organization so that proper receipt is recorded. Reviews and approves supplier payment as needed.
