This site develops and produces medium and large caliber ammunition as well as precision capabilities for direct and indirect fire systems. Leading the industry, this team successfully completes lifecycle support for medium caliber cannons, develops miniature, precision strike weapons for airborne platforms, creates survivability solutions for soldiers and the next generation tactical ammunition for a variety of combat platforms This position will report directly to the Weapons Systems Division Environmental, Safety, Health and Sustainability Manager. The EH&S Manager will manage a team of environmental, health and safety professionals with a focus on regulatory compliance, injury prevention and sustainability efforts. This position will also manage a team of Hazards Analysis/System Safety personnel who focus on identifying various hazards within energetic operations and ensuring all work is conducted safely. Responsibilities include developing and implementing injury prevention programs, developing compliance strategies for new and existing health and safety regulations and/or company policies, and supporting programs in a rapidly evolving environment. Specific functional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Observes, records, analyzes and affects change of EH&S compliance related activities as necessary. Interacts with federal, state and local regulators to resolve compliance issues. Assure compliance with Corporate and Sector EHS procedures and guidelines such as HOPS and Kexperience Minimum of 3 years of Managemeng/Leadership
