The desired candidate would possess multi disciplined expertise in two or more of these specialized areas and have the ability to work independently yet collaboratively in a team environment: Acoustic Testing - perform acoustic in water testing for development and production hardware Analog Design - small signal amplification and filtering, low noise techniques Mixed Signal Design - A/D D/A Converters, Waveform Generators Digital Design: MUXs, gates, buffers, registers, ram / flash memory Embedded Systems: FPGAs, MPUs, SoC, Signal Processing Magnetics Design - Inductor, Transformer, Tuning Networks Power Design - Filters, EMI Suppression, Overload / Short Circuit/ Stress Analysis Simulation tools: PSpice, Matlab Acoustics: Transducer / Sensor Design Optical: Networking, Long haul Fiber, Repeaters, Splicing and Routing This 2nd shift role will be 100% on site and based in Portsmouth, RI.
