Northrop Grumman is seeking a talented Principal Systems Engineer to join our Systems Integration & Test team under the Tactical Fighters Business Unit. Candidate should be a self starter with a strong mechanical or electrical engineering background. This position will be in Linthicum, MD. As part of the Systems Engineering Integration & Test functional homeroom, the Principal Engineer Systems will be responsible for supporting system level hardware qualification testing. Looking for second shift support in our ETL SIL. These responsibilities will include: Roles & Responsibilities : Operate system bench and execute qualification test procedures for Environmental, EMI, and Electrical Power Testing Troubleshooting hardware failures specifically with Environmental, EMI and Electrical Power testing conditions Rigorous I&T processes & procedures Effective communication with team leadership and multi disciplinary teams Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate internally and external team members Ability to communicate test failures and support troubleshooting effort Process/analyze d ata to generate qualification report SDRLs (supplier data requirement list) Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test
