The selected candidate will be required to work full time, on site at our facility in McClellan, CA In this position you will research, design, develop and verify signal collection systems, and define and develop processing and dissemination computer algorithms. You'll design, develop and analyze systems for the extraction of information from signal sensors. Systems utilization includes detection and estimation theories, speech processing, and neural networks; electromagnetic and acoustic effects on signals, and/or implantation of signal processing with advanced computer architectures. Specific responsibilities include: Introducing and developing new algorithm components for the exploitation of signal data Applying signal processing algorithms to large sets of structured and unstructured data to solve a broad range of problems that include applications in target detection and tracking, and false alarm mitigation Interfacing with software engineers to ensure implemented algorithms are correct, robust, and maintainable Creating presentation material to explain and document work, and presenting to internal and external stakeholders Basic
