What You’ll Get To Do: The selected candidate will performs system of system trades, modeling, simulation and analysis to assess mission architecture alternatives for delivering a Customer mission effect, data or capability as it fits within a broader campaign. They will perform analysis of alternatives and synthesizes mission elements to lead to a cohesive mission solution. The selected candidate will also be responsible for development and execution of mission engineering studies and operational analyses, as well as contributing to the team's development efforts in Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM). They will also be responsible for providing guidance on implementing best practices, tools, methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of operational analyses and systems engineering processes. They will also be responsible for developing materials and presenting to internal and external stakeholders. The selected candidate will be flexible to changing priorities of the business unit and adapt as necessary to accomplish business unit objectives. This position will report to the Mission Engineering Lead within the Advanced Programs operating unit in the SDS division. They will also perform the role of section manager within the engineering homeroom.
