Responsibilities: Assure supplier’s process and product quality, including contractual, regulatory, and technical compliance Review and approval of supplier’s documentation based on program
requirements:Review and approval of supplier’s AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) Assist in the management of the Approved Supplier List (ASL) Perform supplier visits (e.g. source inspections, process witnessing, on boarding, audits, etc..) to support programs objectives Conduct and support internal, customer and supplier audits Participates in internal and customer meetings as the Supplier Quality (SQ) representative Initiate Corrective Action Plans and work with suppliers, manufacturing, and engineering personnel to identify root causes and ensure robust corrective actions are implemented Conduct Root cause analysis using concepts such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Fish bone diagram, etc. Proactive reduction and prevention of supplier caused material defects Responsible for supplier quality risk management and return to “green” plans Keeps management apprised of supplier performance, quality status, and risks Analyze quality metrics to understand current trends with supplier quality and respond accordingly Basic Qualifications:Must have 9 years of experience, will consider those with a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years’ us 5 years’experience in a related field or a Masters degree plus 3 years of
