Asset Manager Key Role: Sets and defines a comprehensive Asset Management Strategy with the customer, including setting goals, objectives, KPIs, and metrics. Recommends and supports the development and maintenance of, and updates approved policies and procedures for effective asset lifecycle management of IT assets. Sets and implements IT cross team integrations with IT Service Management processes, such as Configuration Management, Incident, Change, and Problem Management. Drives ROI and efficiency strategy through effective analytics and reporting, acquisition strategy and licensing, and process discipline. Ensures compliance with security policies and standards for IT assets. Recommends and supports the development and maintenance of approved processes for managing and tracking the full IT asset, license, and maintenance lifecycle from procurement to retirement. Ensures IT Asset Management deliverables, according to the contract, are delivered on time and accurately. Oversees the shipping and disposal processes and execution. Oversees physical and virtual audits, including RCA for noncompliance, action plans to address gaps, and identification and implementation of continuous improvement actions for technology, process, and people training.
