You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist of NAVSUP AMMO LOG CENT MECH.
['You will provide for the planning, direction, coordination, and control of all inventory management and program management functions performed within the NAVAIR Branch.', 'You will represent the organization as an expert in ammunition logistics business processes, in efforts to develop solutions to Integrated Logistics Systems (ILS) and stockpile management problems.', 'You will serve as the subject matter expert with issues regarding acquisition, ordnance stratification, item cataloging, transportation, non- combat expenditure allocations (NCEA), and non-nuclear ordnance requirements (NNOR).', 'You will oversee the global analysis of ordnance stockpile requirements that affect the Navy’s ability to support regional contingencies/other war fighting scenarios, and ensure that ordnance positioning plans comply with requirements.', 'You will be responsible for the oversight of inventory management and distribution functions for NAVAIR- managed Navy conventional and USMC aviation conventional ordnance.']
Your resume must demonstrate at least one-year specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing expertise of non-supervisory or supervisory experience leading a civilian or military team towards achieving a common goal, preferably within the ordnance enterprise. Experience partnering or collaborating with personnel on requirements planning, inventory management, or other logistics functions/to arrange storage, handling, inventory, or movement of assets/to expedite material urgently needed from a stock point, manufacturer, or commercial vendor. Experience utilizing supply systems with Ordnance Information System -Retail, Ordnance Information System-Wholesale or other service equivalent programs to perform inventory management-related functions such as (but not limited to) requisition processing, asset sourcing, causative research, transaction history, asset retrievals, review of assets in transit, review of assets due-in and backorder procedures. Experience representing an organization at the deck plate or employee level, middle management level, senior management within own organization or senior management outside own organization developing solutions to inventory management challenges affecting single fleet unit or storage facility, multiple fleet units or storage facilities affecting multiple fleets. Experience with integrated logistical support/planning coordinating with storage sites, program offices, Intermediate Maintenance Facilities, Fleet or other service equivalents on ordnance positioning to meet load planning, allowances and Non-Combat Expenditure Allocation requirements. Requires expert knowledge of requisition processing, inventory management, logistics management, material movement, maintenance, rework and fleet returns.
