This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), San Francisco Field Division. This position(s) primary purpose is to receive, document, store, and dispose of non-drug evidence, drug evidence, bulk drug evidence, and/or stockpiles for a Field Office.

OR Education: Have a Master's or equivalent graduate degree -or- two (2) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B. or J.D., if related. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. Applicants applying for the GS-11 must meet one of the following requirements: A. Have at least one full year of qualifying specialized experience that is at least equivalent in difficulty and complexity to work performed at the GS-09 grade level. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Strategizing procedures, and methods for cataloging, maintaining, tracking, and reporting evidence activities and other administrative matters; 2) Preparing and retrieving a variety of quarterly and annual reports for accountability and reconciliation of seized evidence; 3) Maintaining a record system to document and maintain a log of precise location and activity of all evidence charged out to authorized personnel;4) Gathering data for analysis and information sharing (e.g., queries or formats data); Assisting with on-site inspections in the division and reporting offices and documents or consolidates reports for submission to the Special Agent; and 5) Coordinates and briefs selected personnel on procedures for conducting annual physical inventory of all non-drug evidence. OR Education: Have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree -or- three (3) full academic years of graduate level education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if related. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
