Responsibilities TheSenior Systems Architectprovides technical leadership in the design and development of solutions for complex application and enterprise architecture challenges. This role guides the development ofapplication architectures, APIs, data services, platform services, cloud services, and infrastructure servicesto meet user requirements, support mission needs, and align with strategic goals and Enterprise Architecture standards.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Technical LeadershipGuide Mid-Level and Junior-Level Systems Architects in thedesign, development, maintenance, and documentation of solution architectures, ensuring traceability to Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise requirements.Provide architectural guidance acrossapplication, API, data, platform, cloud, and infrastructure services.Evaluate architectural approaches and guide the development of solutions that align with enterprise objectives, user requirements, and evolving technology.Requirements & Systems AnalysisGuide the analysis ofuser requirements, procedures, and business problemsto identify opportunities to automate, enhance, or improve existing systems.Evaluatecomputer system capabilities, workflows, and scheduling limitationsto inform architecture and solution development.Translate user and enterprise requirements into effective solution architecture approaches.Solution Architecture DevelopmentGuide Mid-Level and Junior-Level Systems Architects in developingproposed changes to solution architecture designsbased on requirements analysis, emerging technologies, and evolving mission needs.Ensure proposed architecture changes remain aligned withEnterprise Architecture, Enterprise requirements, and strategic objectives.Provide mentorship and technical direction to junior architecture staff.Location: This role is fully onsite in either Chantilly or Springfield, VA.
