Job Description
As a Project Engineer Sr. Construction Administrator for the FBM Weapons System Infrastructure & Capabilities (WSIC) team, you’ll work on a broad range of projects to find innovative solutions to lead team members in solving complex problems as we position the program for sustained success for decades to come. The Milcons and Strategic Projects team is looking for motivated individuals to help support construction administration of contractors for Milcon and Special projects supporting the future of the FBM D5 missile development, production, sustainment, and next generation missile programs. Within the position oversight of external contracted construction projects will be supported to ensure schedule, technical, and cost are maintained by the projects to achive mission need dates.
Basic Qualifications
- Project management AND/OR construction management experience in commercial, industrial, government, military or DoD facilities.
- Experience with Project Management, project engineering, AND/OR systems engineering.
- Experience developing and executing project plans
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (US citizenship required)
Desired Skills
- Experience in the construction management or administration
- Experience in crane requirements, test, and installation
- Experience working with NAVFAC AND/OR NCC
- Experience in the execution of engineering projects from start to finish
- Familiarity with the MILCON process.
- Proven and demonstrated leadership, organizational coordination, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with FBM and D5 Missile processing operations
- Experience with leading multi-disciplined Integrated Project Teams (IPTs)
- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision capable of clear communication through multiple levels of senior and executive leadership
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar experience preferred
- Understand of the A&E design process and providing oversite of engineering design packages
- Experience preparing/reviewing the following facility engineering products: Statements of Work, Facility Design Criteria, Specification documents and construction cost estimates
- Experience in briefing and interfacing with senior level management and customers
- Excellent computer utilization skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
