The Opportunity:

As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Booz Allen, you will lead the modernization of mission‑critical GEOINT systems by architecting and delivering cloud‑native, data‑driven applications and microservices. In this senior role, you will shape technical direction, oversee the integration of modern pipelines, and develop secure, scalable solutions that directly impact analysts performing high‑consequence missions.

You’ll serve as a technical leader who advises on architecture, mentors engineers, and drives engineering excellence across complex modernization efforts.

What You'll Do:

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of full‑stack capabilities across cloud‑native microservices

• Own major system components and guide the technical roadmap for modernization and cloud adoption

• Develop distributed, secure, scalable back‑end services using Python, Java/Spring Boot, or similar technologies

• Architect and govern cloud deployments (AWS), including Kubernetes clusters, IaC, security controls, and reliability patterns

• Guide teams in DevSecOps execution, including GitLab CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, secure coding standards, and supply‑chain integrity

• Integrate large‑scale data, search, or analytic pipelines, such as Kafka, NiFi, Elasticsearch

• Partner with product owners, mission users, and cross‑functional engineering teams to define requirements and technical strategy

• Mentor and support mid‑level and junior engineers; perform code reviews and drive engineering best practices

• Evaluate emerging technologies, including LLMs/AI, synthetic data, and augmented development tools for mission applicability
