Responsibilities
Ready to make an impact? Peraton is seeking a cleared mid-level Site Lead with an engineering or construction background, to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop a next generation satellite terminal. The program provides architectural, design, construction and engineering of terminals and systems support as well as operation and maintenance of Ground Terminals for DoD.This is an on-site position in Colorado Springs, CO on Shriever SFB, where you will be working closely with civilian subcontractors in addition to your primary team to build up the Ground Terminal facility and prepare it for antenna installations.TheSite Leadwill be responsible for the following but not limited to:Monitors construction activities, provides daily and weekly reporting and updates of status to primeCoordinates with on-base personnelAssists with permitting processes including documentation and coordinating visits to the site by decision makersAttends meetings, provides some guidance to sub-contractors including site safety enforcementWorks with remote logistics team regarding shipping, base access coordination, site activity deconflictionTypical work schedule is 7-4, M-F adjusting for day to day needs of the project
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree plus 8 years of related experience, or High-school Diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a completed degreeEngineering background or prior construction industry experience requiredProficiency with MS OfficeWilling to take relevant trainings including safety, aerial lifts, telehandler.Secret level clearanceDesired Qualifications:Experience with MS Project is preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with CAD or MS Visio
