These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ClearedCareers platform, including our job board, resume database, employer services, and virtual hiring events (the "Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

The Platform is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old and located in the United States.

You represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • All information you provide is accurate
  • You will comply with all applicable laws

2. Account Registration

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
  • Notify us of unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for activity under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate, fraudulent, or misleading information.

3. Platform Use & Candidate Activity

By clicking Apply on a job posting, you authorize ClearedCareers to record your interest in that position and, where applicable, share your candidate information with the employer.

Information shared with employers may include:

  • Candidate name, email, and phone
  • Resume or resume link
  • Candidate profile and profile link
  • Clearance information and location
  • Qualifications and match indicators
  • Engagement timestamps (e.g., apply clicks)

ClearedCareers may collect and use engagement data for analytics, reporting, fraud prevention, and platform improvement.

4. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number on ClearedCareers.com, including during account registration, job applications, or event registration, you consent to receive SMS messages from ClearedCareers.

These messages may include:

  • Account notifications and alerts
  • Authentication messages (one-time passcodes / 2FA)
  • Hiring event reminders and scheduling updates
  • Job-related notifications and platform alerts

Some messages may include links to event details, maps, driving instructions, or account-related pages.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For assistance, reply HELP.

SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

5. Security & Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Use bots, crawlers, or scraping tools
  • Circumvent security systems
  • Attempt unauthorized access
  • Upload malware
  • Impersonate others
  • Use the Platform for illegal purposes

4.2 Classified Information Prohibition

Users must not upload classified or restricted information. ClearedCareers is not authorized to store classified material.

6. Employer Responsibilities

Employers agree to:

  • Post legitimate job opportunities
  • Comply with employment laws
  • Use candidate data only for recruiting

7. Payments & Subscriptions

Paid services are subject to fees at purchase. Payments are processed by third parties. Fees are non-refundable unless stated.

8. Intellectual Property

All platform content belongs to ClearedCareers or licensors.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, fraud, or security risks.

11. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS". We do not guarantee hiring outcomes or availability.

12. Limitation of Liability

Liability is limited to amounts paid in the prior 12 months.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify ClearedCareers against claims arising from misuse.

14. Force Majeure

We are not liable for events beyond our control.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Colorado law.

16. Changes

Continued use constitutes acceptance of updates.
