The Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an exceptionally talented, motivated, and creative Principal Industrial Systems Engineer or Senior Principal Industrial Systems Engineer at our Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) located outside of Baltimore, Maryland (work on site) where we design, manufacture, and test semiconductor products for internal and commercial production customers as well as emerging technology programs. Northrop Grumman’s ATL microelectronics facility is a unique high mix production environment supporting semiconductor devices, RF/microwave assemblies, and advanced microelectronics packaging. Our engineering and operations teams provide cutting edge process development and manufacturing excellence in support of programs across avionics, space and defense systems. What You'll Get To Do: This position involves supporting ATL's production technology lines and requires a focus on optimizing manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include enhancing production efficiency and developing new metrics for the production floor. Key Responsibilities: Optimize and analyze manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity in a high mix microelectronics fabrication environment. Utilize Tableau for data visualization and reporting to support decision making processes. Manage and analyze databases to drive insights and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee Work In Progress (WIP) planning, line balancing, and capacity modeling to ensure optimal production flow. Collaborate and lead cross functional teams to identify and address process bottlenecks and implement best practices.
