Clearance: Secret Join Collins Aerospace and make a real difference in national security! In the critical arena of defense, where the reliability of our technology can mean the difference between mission success and failure, your role goes beyond just a job
requirements capture, schematic capture, design documentation, signal integrity analysis, creation of board stackup and routing instructions, coordination and review of printed wiring board layout, creation of test plans, root cause analysis, and integration. Designs will include the use of FPGA, processors, and DDR memory components, and industry interfaces, such as Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART. Generate Printed Wiring Board (PWB) layout constraint guidelines and oversee the routing, layout, fabrication, and assembly of complex designs. YOU will serve as a hands on technical authority and apply advanced technical principles to design and optimize complex electrical systems, including high speed digital circuit designs that can overcome the complex challenges of signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) to ensure reliable performance. YOU will collaborate with a multi discipline team of Engineers to develop proven hardware designs that meet system performance and operational specifications. YOU will prepare and present project and/or technical information to technical staff, program leadership, management and customers. This includes producing technical documentation, including specifications, hardware design documents, and test plans. YOU will test and troubleshoot electronic circuitry. Includes support lab of design verification testing for circuit card assemblies. YOU will perform trade studies as needed and select components necessary to implement the
requirements. Includes supporting system architecture discussions where needed. YOU will mentor others in personal technical growth and may lead small teams to success with schedule, budget, and technical execution. What YOU Will Learn: YOU will become an advanced subject matter expert in the domain area of high speed digital design. YOU will build
skills that will help advance your career, whether that is in line to more technical roles, people leadership, etc. We are growing, so can you!
